SF cops shouldn’t seize DJs’ laptops
By Steven T. Jones
Going into another weekend, I find myself thinking about our story on San Francisco Police officers seizing DJs’ laptops as they raid house parties. The SF Weekly got on the story about the same time we did, but their music columnist got it into the paper a week before us. We furthered her reporting by naming the main cop culprit and showing the Chief’s Office knows about it, but it’s frustrating that the policy isn’t being addressed more directly,Source: SFBG Politics RSS Feed
Dobbs Says He Now Backs Amnesty, ( Kiss My Support Goodbye)

I don't care who it is at this point, but any single government or public official who supports amnesty will lose any support monetarily and otherwise from this camp here and Lou Dobbs, who I like and have defended from time to time has now made that list...
He did so by doing some amnesty gymnastics this past week after a little sit down with Telemundo and a few other outlets, all who are essentially part of the left loon camp that forced him from CNN in the first placeSource: Chicagoray RSS Feed

Looks Like I'm Not Alone

A record number of people polled by Rasmussen are now strongly disapproving of the job performance of Barack Obama.
If only they had listened when it counted.
The latest:
-15 and dropping.
I guess talk of hope and change will only wear so well. Then people start expecting something more.
Unfortunately, as Americans are finding out, there is nothing more there.

Now - this is important. From Tuesday through Friday next week I will only be posting as and when I can. The reason for this is that I will be on an SIA course which hopefully will result in me being 'security badged' which should, in turn, allow me to seek employment within the security sector.
I will endeavour to keep this page going in the four day period, but I am making no promises!

The Westin St. Francis Hotel on Union Square this morning became the latest target for the striking hotel workers of UNITE-HERE Local 2, which has been springing three-day strikes on local hotels. As we reported in today’s Guardian, the union’s contract expired back in August and the hotel chains are trying to force benefit concessions and increased health care costs on their workers.

USA Today Uses Attack Book to Talk Palin’s

Early on the morning of Governor Sarah Palin’s book release day, USA Today’s The Oval blog posted a piece asking who was more qualified to be president, Clinton or Palin. Naturally, instead of using an image of Sarah Palin’s book cover to illustrate the story, USA Today used the attack book against Palin that mimics Palin’s cover in a cynical bid to confuse readers on which book is which.

Why The Arkansas Counties Facing The Mississippi River Are Important To YOUR Health Care

Last week, after talking a little bit about our media strategy for the new Blanche Lincoln TV ad (see below) we got a lot of e-mails asking why we were spending money in Memphis, Tennessee and Springfield, Missouri. I want to clear that up. The way the cable systems cover Arkansas is by dividing it up into media markets, DMAs I think they call them. The bulk of the money we've spent in the past-- and that we're spending on the new campaign, is in Little Rock, Jonesboro and Ft Smith.Source: DownWithTyranny! RSS Feed

Catholics Have The Power-- Tony Alamo Gets 175 Years In Prison For Doing Routine Catholic Priest Stuff

First, don't get me wrong about Tony Alamo. 175 years in prison? I'd have been just as happy with 375 years... although I have to admit that I'm not a big fan of wasting taxes on keeping these monsters fed, housed, clothed and guarded. Sometimes this pro-life crap just goes too far. I mean, for what reason are we keeping this man alive? Is he going to become rehabilitated and get out in 100 years-- he's be 175 years old in 100 years and they'd let him out for good behavior by then--Source: DownWithTyranny! RSS Feed
